Barbican
Opera is appointed to carry out project management and employer’s agent services for 150 Aldersgate. The building will provide 140,000 sq ft NIA office space opposite the Barbican in the City of London.
The project features the redevelopment and refurbishment of the existing space to return the floor to shell and core and an addition of two extra floors. The building will incorporate the site located to the rear and will be reconfigured to allow dual entrance to the building.
We will work closely with the design team to ensure the client, Topland Group’s desired net lettable area is achieved. The building will boast a considerable amount of external greening by way of terraces and landscaping, The building will also feature a mixed-mode ventilation by way of an adjustable façade, ensuring that it will become one of the most sustainable buildings in the area.
