Ali Francis

Ali is a qualified architect with extensive experience in the design and delivery of complex retrofit and extension projects. Over the past six years, she has played a key role in Timber Square, a major commercial office redevelopment in Southwark, involving both the retrofit of an existing structure with a new CLT extension and the construction of a new building. With two years spent on site, Ali is adept at navigating buildability challenges and ensuring smooth project delivery.

Ali’s strong collaboration and people skills enable her to build and maintain positive relationships and resolve challenges fairly. Her technical expertise allows her to address complex construction issues while maintaining a high standard of design quality throughout every stage of a project.

She holds a first-class Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, a Master’s with honours, and a Postgraduate Diploma. Ali has taught at the University of Nottingham and Sheffield, and contributes to the profession as a member of the South Downs National Park Design Review Panel and as a former judge for the Architecture Today awards.
